I had the special privilege of designing a lemon tree for a bridal shower that Melissa of Southern Vogue hosted. The bridal shower took place at the Mansion on Turtle Creek in the FDR Suite! The suite is stunning! I am in love with the wall fabric. It was just stunning. The decor reminded me of my grandparents’ home because they had the olive green decor everywhere. I think this room is so inviting and a place where you will want to stay awhile and catch up with you friends! Check out Melissa’s blog here and here for the complete design that she did. Miss Southern Vogue is quite the party planner!!
After a month of big changes with Posh, Makeover Monday is back people!!! We moved into a new studio, hired new team members, and went to NYC for the Chapel Designers event!! All the while it’s wedding season! Now I am back in the swing of things, so blogging will be in order. Now that it is Spring, even though it doesn’t feel like it, we need to talk about what to wear for Easter!
My last Chapel Designers meeting was with Ariella Chezar who is AMAZING! Her designs are incrediable! When I see her designs that are rich and color and delightful in texture, I just think about how amazing a wedding would be to have her designs present. These designs are stunning and European in style. They are just fabulous!
I added two pictures of me on the rooftop with Robyn of Bare Root Flora who’s design studio is in Colorado and Megan Soh of Petitely who is in Virginia, but Megan is from my hometown!!! I truly had the best time in New York and I am so fortunate that I am a Chapel Designer.
On my last day in New York, I got up early to go to the Flower District to check out the latest beauties that arrived that morning. The flower markets open at 4:30am and closed by 10:30am so you have to get there way early or you will not get the best product of the day. There were some of the most beautiful flowers that I have ever seen! There was Ranunculus and Succulents that were the size of my hand! Amazing colors and textures of flowers that truly make me appreciate more my business and the love I have for it.
After leaving the market, I went to the Textile District to scope out some unique ribbon for my designs. Using unique and beautiful ribbon is apart of the attention to details that Posh Floral is all about. Check out the pictures of my ribbon wall compared to the one of the many ribbon walls in this store. There were literally walls and wall over ribbon!
